My Story
I casually joined the Scentsy Family in August of 2016. Mainly just to fund my Scentsy addiction. I hadn’t ever heard of Scentsy before I went to my first party the month before that and after seeing what Scentsy had to offer I dove right in!
While I do work full time in the agriculture industry and on my small hobby farm, Scentsy allows me to have a little extra financial freedom and not to mention an awesome smelling house, car and laundry! I mean, come on. I have dogs, cats, a son and a farm - I NEED SCENTSY!
If you were to ask me what my favorite product is, I'd say EVERYTHING! I don't love the products just because I sell them, I share them with you because I LOVE them! I would be happy to recommend any of the products Scentsy has to offer or answer any questions you may have!
When I first started this little wax business, my only goal was to earn back my investment. Then I didn’t have a dime into something I may not make money on. After I stuck it out and made it past my first 3 months, I thought “Alright, let’s see where this goes.” Then my goal was to make some extra cash to pay for my wedding. After I hit that goal, I honestly didn’t have a next step. I just continued in the direction I was going, filling people’s wax addiction one bar at a time. Then came time when my director contacted me to set me up to earn my first incentive. I went to the meeting of course but thought “Yeah right, ME earn a CRUISE to the MEDITERRANEAN.” So during the coming months to follow, my parties were BOMB, my team started GROWING and before I knew it, I was on a trip of a LIFETIME I NEVER thought was POSSIBLE. After earning two incentive trips in two years, leading a team and keeping my heart full of passion, now my goals are to take myself on vacations, be able to provide for my son and the farm without living paycheck to paycheck and stressing over every dollar and fix up our farmhouse to make it our dream home!
You see – no matter what your goals are in life, you just have to KEEP GOING. We go through these seasons in life where things are great and then they aren’t so great. Just know it is NOT permanent. After six years in this business and taking a leap of faith, I’ve seen the tip tops of the mountains and I’ve seen the lowest parts of the valleys. But I kept going! I knew I just needed to. I have never found a company to work along side with better than this one. I love the people, the community, the growth I’ve seen in myself and others. I’ve stayed humble. I’ve gotten upset and let myself down. I’ve taken breaks and come back. But I have NEVER QUIT.
